A prerequisite for the course is a general higher education entrance qualification recognized in Hamburg, a technical college entrance qualification, a suitable subject-specific advanced training examination as a master craftsman or business administrator or an equivalent subject-specific advanced training examination. In addition, proof of special aptitude is required by successfully completing an entrance examination. The course begins twice a year on April 1st and October 1st. The standard period of study is 6 semesters for the full-time bachelor's courses and 3 semesters for the master's courses.
