CIFE (the International Centre for European Training) 

CIFE is a private higher education and research institution founded in 1954. The breadth of its geographic engagement and the diversity of its academic programs attest to CIFE's major commitments: a confident, forward-thinking vision of Europe, an innovative teaching concept, and an awareness of the challenges of a changing world. CIFE provides an education that is intrinsically European and goes beyond the teaching framework of national higher education. During an intensive academic year, its students form a small, itinerant international community, accompanied by an international faculty, and thus face the challenges of diversity and unity. Since the creation of one of the first qualifying online study programs in European integration in 2003, CIFE has been at the forefront of developing digital higher education programs. The teaching methods are constantly being updated to include more interactive formats. The Master of Mediterranean Studies at CIFE exposes students to the region's unprecedented challenges. The Joint Master in Global Economic Governance and Public Affairs, as well as the Joint Master in EU Trade and Climate Diplomacy, address critical issues in future EU policymaking. The programs of CIFE foster networks between academics, policymakers, and young people from various member countries as well as neighboring countries (Caucasus, Central Asia, Turkey, and the Maghreb), thereby creating European added value. CIFE has a strong international orientation and strongly encourages student mobility: each term, participants in six of its Master programs rotate from France (Nice) to Germany (Berlin), Italy (Rome), the United Kingdom (Canterbury), Turkey (Istanbul), or Tunisia (Tunis). Study trips to Brussels, Strasbourg, Luxembourg, and Leipzig provide further insight into regional complexities and challenges.
