The Erfurt University of Applied Sciences is one of three universities in the Thuringian state capital of Erfurt. It was founded in October 1991. The University of Applied Sciences Erfurt provides bachelor's and master's degree programs in thirteen disciplines organized into six faculties. The Erfurt University of Applied Sciences is not a traditional campus university with a single location. They have three locations that are easily accessible from one another and from the center of Erfurt. The Faculty of Applied Social Sciences offers courses in social work, education, and child rearing.
