The MA Interior Architecture/Interior Design program is offered to graduates of interior architecture/interior design. The program strengthens the Competencies and specialized knowledge acquired at BA level so that students can individually apply creative and responsible solutions to tasks in the fields of interior architecture and interior design. The program is firmly grounded in the vibrant city of Berlin but taught exclusively in English. It is designed to help students understand their role and responsibility as interior architects in different physical and cultural contexts – on either a local or a global level. Upon completing the program  graduates will be able to apply their profound understanding of interiors and use their design skills and their knowledge of different interior discourses – regarding the built environment  Technology  art  and geographical  social  sociocultural  and political contexts – to solve complex creative challenges in their field.

*Interior Architecture is a protected profession in Germany. Relevant BA and MA degrees plus registration with the Chamber of Architects are obligatory in order to be entitled to use the title “Interior Architect.”

All MA courses at Berlin International are taught in English.

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

If you have not completed high school in a majority-English speaking country (ie. USA  UK  Canada  Australia  Ireland  New Zealand)  an approved language exam is required in order to qualify for admission. You are welcome to attend the internal Berlin International language proficiency exam. It will be hosted via the software MS Teams and participation can only be offered after an application to one of our programs

Interior Architecture / Interior Design

The Master of Science in Molecular Medicine primarily focuses on biomedical issues and examines those using methods and experimental approaches from the fields of molecular biology  biochemistry  cell biology  and physiology. The skills acquired in this programme can be used in biomedical research and medical biotechnology. This degree programme meets the quickly growing need in the field of molecular and biomedical research for scholars with basic knowledge of medicine and natural science.And extensive laboratory experiments  the goal of which is to teach students modern experimental methods  are a major part of this degree programme. In addition  students work at two or three different institutions and thus familiarize themselves with a variety of research methods currently in use. This part of the programme also trains the students' ability to apply the methods about which they have read in the course literature independently.

The Bachelor degree Air Traffic Management is the combination of air traffic controller training and business studies, graduates acquire a wide range of skills. The English-language Bachelor degree is a training-integrated degree in cooperation with DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH. These enable graduates to have career prospects outside of or in addition to the classic field of activity of air traffic controllers. The students of the dual degree develop an interdisciplinary understanding of the overall air traffic system.

The Semester contributions totaling 337.39 EUR must be paid each semester. Submission of a German Abitur certificate which shows that at least five years English have been attended in school lessons and at least sufficient or 5 points was completed is accepted as proof of language requirement

International Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship (IMME) is designed to equip students with the knowledge, methods, and skills essential for professions in upper and top-level management of internationally operating corporations and organizations. Students will gain the skills necessary for grasping problems and developing structured, theory-based solutions within the fields of marketing, management, and entrepreneurship.

The Semester contributions totalling 129.90 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes student union fee 77.00 EUR, Semester ticket for the MVB fee 41.40 EUR and Student body contribution 11.50 EUR

English language proficiency can also be proven by at least 30 CP gained from modules taught in English in a German study program or an average grade of minimum 10 points (4 semesters with exam) in the subject English proved with the German school leaving certificate Abitur

The Natural Hazards and Risks in Structural Engineering (NHRE) Master degree programme has a strong international orientation. It trains students to apply themselves to demanding engineering tasks with regard to specific external influences  such as earthquakes. EMSHIP gives the opportunity to candidates to demonstrate their talents and offer them the necessary skills to work in this challenging industry. European Masters course in Advanced Design of Ships and Offshore Structures includes Advanced Structure and CFD Education as well as Yacht Design and Production Technology.

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.
