The Master Degree Program in Environmental Toxicology is an integrated interdisciplinary Program offered by the University of Duisburg-Essen. The study course offers knowledge on chemical properties of xenobiotics and other anthropogenic substances, their interactions with the biosphere, their detection and monitoring, and also legal aspects related to this field.

Semester contribution of 324.06 EUR must be paid each semester. It consist of Mobility contribution of 213.06 EUR, Social contribution for the student union of 95.00 EUR, and Student union fee of 16.00 EUR
Minimum requirement includes a University degree (Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, University Diploma (example university diploma), State Examination (example Staatsexamen)) in Biology, Chemistry, Water Science or Environmental Sciences in the Natural Science domain or a degree from a University of Professional Education (example Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, Diploma (University of Applied Sciences Diploma, HBO diploma) in one of the above mentioned study programmes.
Additionally, applicants should have at least 15 credits in two of the following three areas of expertise: Biology, Chemistry or Environmental Sciences.
