The interdisciplinary Master program "History  Economics and Philosophy of Science / Interdisciplinary Studies of Science" (ISoS) focuses on science-reflective studies and is aimed at working out essential characteristics of science and making them explicit. The goal is the analysis of scientific knowledge  Its economic structure and Its integration into the social context in the past and present. The course is aimed on the one hand at bachelor’s graduates in the three basic disciplines of history  economics and philosophy  and on the other hand at graduates from the natural and social sciences who are aiming for a science-reflective deepening of their studies. The training in the ISoS course qualifies the students for independent research work in the field of science research  but at the same time is aimed at imparting important skills for working in various institutions of science administration and science management. 

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

The Semester contributions totaling 321.74 EUR must be paid each semester it includes Semester ticket 153.89 EUR, Studierendenwerk 91.00 EUR, NRW - Ticket 58.50 EUR and General contribution 18.35 EUR

Proof of language skills in English and/or German. Sufficient language skills are proven by a relevant academic degree from either a German- or an English-language institution. Sufficient language skills can also be proven by English at the CEFR level of B2 and a level of German of B2. If  at the date of application  no German language skills can be proven  a level of C1 in English is requisite for admission; in that case  skills of German at the level of B1 need to be earned during the programme and proven upon receiving the degree

The international Master Program World Studies: Orders  Politics  Cultures provides students with in-depth knowledge of global structures and interactions. It aims at examining political and cultural processes at a world scale from an interdisciplinary perspective. We engage with international orders  the complex inter-relations between international actors  the global dissemination of ideas and knowledge  as well as diverging and converging modes of understanding in intercultural contexts. We understand ‘orders’ as stable settings gathering the parts and a whole (e.g.  in the sense of multi-level governance and international legal systems). ‘Politics’ is concerned with the regulation of societies in transnational contexts. ‘Cultures’ refers to disputed interpretations  practices  and values pertaining to these orders and politics.

World Studies

The Master Degree in European Studies at the International Graduate Center of the Bremen University of Applied Sciences is politics  economics/business  law and administration of Europe. You will gain a deeper understanding of the key challenges that the European Union  Its member states as well as Its international partners and business actors inside and outside the EU have to face. Our program offers you a comprehensive and up-to-date study of the economic  legal and political developments in the public sector and in private business  thus qualifying you to work in the EU institutions  the diplomatic service  the public sector of the member states or partner states of the EU or in private business or think tanks  interest groups or in lobbying.

For graduates whose Bachelor's degree stems from a six semester programme (180 credit points): Provided that you satisfy all of the other entrance requirements and that the course is not yet filled to capacity you might be enrolled under the condition that you acquire 30 credit points (ECTS) within the first year of your Master studies at HAW Hamburg. The student advisor for Master studies (Studienfachberater_in) will decide which additional courses have to be taken.

The Cologne University of Applied Sciences, often known as TH Köln - University of Applied Sciences (German: Technische Hochschule Köln, abbreviated TH Köln), was founded in 1971 and is a higher education institution in Cologne, Germany.

At TH Köln, approximately 6,500 students enroll in classes each year. Approximately 25,000 students from 120 different countries are enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs at this time. 1,600 employees and 440 professors also share their potential.

Applied natural sciences, architecture, and construction, information and communication, computer science, engineering, culture, society, and social sciences, as well as business studies, are among the subjects they cover. The University of Hildesheim, or Universität Hildesheim in German, is a public university that was established in Hildesheim in 1855. On the Marienburgerhöhe, just outside the town, are the major structures of the University of Hildesheim Foundation. The university's additional locations are dispersed around the entire city.

Over 8,700 students are now enrolled at the university. The foundation university employs approximately 270 individuals in administration, the library, and technology along with over 90 professors, 470 scientists, and over 270 other staff members. The University of Hildesheim places a high value on individualized support.

It collaborates with universities abroad in more than 160 different countries. Many students successfully complete their periods abroad, and many of them are awarded Erasmus subsidies. With 30% or more of "outgoing students," the University of Hildesheim has consistently ranked first in the nation. Students in Hildesheim have access to more than 400 exchange study spots each year.

Numerous study options are offered by the four departments of the University of Hildesheim. More than 40 Bachelor's and Master's programs are available overall at the University of Hildesheim, including the "Data Analytics" Master's program in English.

A total of 50 Minerva College scholarships and an additional 50 Lore Auerbach scholarships are given out. Students who are especially dedicated are given support by the study. University of Hildesheim

The Bergische Universität Wuppertal - Uni Wuppertal for short and unofficially BUW  - was founded in 1972 as part of the NRW education initiative as a comprehensive university. 

The university has over 23,000 students enrolled, including over 2,500 freshmen. About 1030 of these were taught by 260 instructors across three university campuses. A hundred or so courses were offered at the same time.

The University of Wuppertal is consistently raising the bar for both its research and instruction. As a result, their potential and accomplishments are more clearly seen, new synergies are released, and current strengths are combined.

Numerous degree programs taught in English are offered by the University of Wuppertal in response to the increasing needs of globalization. For free, the University of Wuppertal provides concurrent German courses to overseas students enrolled in degree programs taught in English.
