The European Master Degree in Human Rights and Democratisation is a one-year, multidisciplinary academic postgraduate program run jointly by 41 European universities and institutes. The program combines theoretical and practical approaches to issues in the fields of human rights and democratization. The Master Degree is divided into two semesters. Students spend the first semester (18 weeks) in Venice (University of Padua); they are then able to spend the second semester in Hamburg (or at other of the 41 partner universities).

The Semester contributions totaling 337.50 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Constitutional student body fee 13.30 EUR, Semester Public Transport Pass fee 182.40 EUR, Semester Public Transport Pass Hardship fee 6.80 EUR, Student Union fee 85 EUR and Administrative fee 50 EUR
Addtionally students have to pay an enrolment fee of 150 EUR
Minimum requirement includes a Bachelor degree or comparable degree in a subject relevant to human rights (e.g., law, social science, humanities) with a minimum of 180 ECTS.
Applicants must submit receipt of payment of the application fee of 50 EUR
