Transition Management addresses the enormous economic and political transformations we observe in many transition and emerging economies worldwide. Their societies are changing from state management to a market economy, from autocracy to democracy, often at a rapid pace and at higher income and technology levels than in a typical developing country.
The Master Programme Transition Management enables students:
1. To understand the complex processes and specific demands of transition and emerging economies.
2. To comprehend the various areas of transition, including economic, legal, political, social, agricultural, and environmental aspects and their interlinkages.
3. To gain knowledge as well as practical Competencies in methods and strategies to enhance the transition process.
4. To train their soft skills by learning and working in international and interdisciplinary teams.

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

The Semester contributions totaling 296.90 EUR must be paid in each semester. Accepted proof of English language proficiency: Proof of obtaining a local higher education entrance qualification/Bachelor’s degree in English in one of the following countries: Australia, Ireland, Canada, New Zealand, USA, United Kingdom, South Africa, and proof of the UNIcert III certificate

The increasingly rapid development of high-performance technology and ongoing global automation are creating unexpected opportunities – both technically and job-wise.

Students are required to pay a one-time registration fee of 750 EUR at the beginning of the degree programme

Whether you are interested in financial planning, business taxation or corporate finance - the undergraduate program Bachelor of Finance combines the classic management and economics principles of business administration studies with extensive knowledge on the management of the financial sector.
Note: The program can also be completed under 7 semester duration within global track that includes an integrated semester abroad in the fourth semester. During the semester abroad, you will acquire valuable intercultural and linguistic skills as well as international financial knowledge.

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

Students from EU and EWR have to pay an enrollment fee of 600 EUR and Non-EU-students have to pay 1500 EUR

Foreign applicants who cannot certify a B2-level in German do have to take German as second foreign language during their studies

The Master in Data and Knowledge Engineering delivers in-depth knowledge and Competencies in Data Science, one of the most promising career areas for ambitious computer scientists. Its subject area is Engineering for Data and for Knowledge, aiming to turn passive data into exploitable knowledge.

The Semester contributions totalling 129.90 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes student union fee 77.00 EUR, Semester ticket for the MVB fee 41.40 EUR and Student body contribution 11.50 EUR

Following test result can serve as proof of English proficiency: Certificate in Advanced English (CAE)

Data and Knowledge Engineering

The Master programme aims to educate executives in the development of scientifically based, innovative and sustainable management concepts for natural forests, forest plantations and other wood formations, agroforestry systems and urban green spaces, and for controlling their use and maintenance. The fields of work comprise Management of enterprises, governments, International organizations.

The Semester contributions totaling 290.30 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Student Union fee 87.50 EUR, Student Council and Student Representation fee 7.60 EUR and Semester Ticket fee 195.20 EUR

Native speakers and English language degree holders are exempted from providing proof of language proficiency
