The International Graduate Studies in Mechatronics is an interdisciplinary study program. Students of Mechatronics join from all around the world so the course is designed to first integrate the knowledge of students coming from various fields and cultures (alignment subjects). In the second and third semester relatively complex courses are offered providing students with broad knowledge in mechanical as well as electrical engineering.

The Semester contributions totalling 284.50 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Semester ticket including the NRW-Ticket fee 178.00 EUR, Soli-EUR fee 3.00 EUR, Social contribution of Student union fee 90.50 EUR and AStA contribution fee 13.00 EUR
Minimum requirement includes a first university degree (at least grade of 2.7) qualifying for a profession in an engineering discipline related to electrical engineering or mechanical engineering, or a first professional university degree in a comparable Bachelor degree program.
English native speakers are exempt from proving language proficiency
