Course Details

The international degree program in Plant Sciences deals with fundamental and applied aspects of this field. The aim of this program is to educate students in the basic areas of plant sciences and then integrate this knowledge into various specialized scientific fields. Students attend courses from the following main areas: Development of Plant Cells and Ultrastructure, Plant Biochemistry, Physiology and Molecular Biology as well as Plant Systematics and Biodiversity.

Requirements

Entry Requirements

Minimum requirement includes Bachelor of Science degree preferably in life sciences such as Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Agricultural Biology and Biotechnology.

Applicants with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Physics, Forestry, Pharmaceutical or Geo sciences will also be considered.

Grade Point Average (GPA) for the Bachelor of Science study in the range of 70% of the maximal score or above (Equivalent to a German grade of 2.7 or better).

Applicants should have experience in practical laboratory work (20 ECTS).
