The Sustainable Tourism Development (NTE) Master degree responds to a topic that has evolved from a trend to fixed expectations, it combines tourism with the important field of competence of sustainability in a forward-looking way. The focus is on the planning and sustainable development of tourist destinations. The aim is to train experts with interface skills for the planning and sustainable development of tourist destinations in the broad sense, i.e. local authorities, regional destinations, but also larger investment projects such as (hotel) resorts or amusement parks.

The Semester contribution totalling 154.00 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Semester contribution fee 70.00 EUR, Student services fee 59.00 EUR and Student union fee 25.00 EUR
Minimum entry requirements include a Bachelor degree in tourism, geography, planning, the environment, economics or social sciences or a comparable degree with a final grade of at least 2.5.
Native speakers (Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, UK, or the USA) and Degree holders in English medium of instruction are exempted from providing proof of language proficiency
