Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences (German: Hochschule Heilbronn) is a German University of Applied Sciences that ranks high among the major higher educational institutions in the state of Baden-Württemberg where it caters for about 8,000 students on 4 campuses, namely, Heilbronn-Sontheim, Heilbronn-Bildungscampus, Künzelsau and Schwäbisch Hall. Its diverse study programs in Business Studies, Engineering, and Information Technology provide a solid theoretical foundation while incorporating vocational elements like industrial placements or project work. In order to improve key student competencies across functions and disciplines, a focus is also placed on competence-based approaches. The majority of study programs were developed in direct response to the needs of local industries, but an increasing number of courses are focusing on the challenges of today's global business environment.
