The HMKW University for Media, Communication, and Business was founded in 2008 by a team of academic educators with extensive experience. The Science Council recognizes and institutionally accredits the private university. FIBAA has accredited or is in the process of accrediting all current courses. HMKW has offices in Berlin, Cologne, and, as of the winter semester 2016/17, Frankfurt am Main.
Here, all professors and teachers actively support students on their way through studies and into the job market. Studying at HMKW is not only demanding but also rewarding. At HMKW, they combine solid academic training with work on a diverse range of practical projects. To that end, they work with a variety of institutions and businesses to supplement the academic curriculum with real-world issues and project tasks.
As a result, the courses are designed to help students gain theoretical understanding as well as practical skills. You will have a wide range of verifiable skills at the end of your studies, which will set you apart from other job applicants. You will be proud of your accomplishments and success after six semesters (classic bachelor's degree) or eight semesters (dual bachelor's degree). The HMKW master's degree programs build on the success of our undergraduate programs. They can be finished in four semesters of full-time study or at least five semesters of part-time study.
HMKW has been participating in the Erasmus program since 2013 and is committed to exchange and cooperation with European and non-European students and universities. Our network of European partner universities is constantly growing.
