Babelsberg's Konrad Wolf Film University (German: Filmuniversität Babelsberg Konrad Wolf) is Germany's oldest and largest film school.  The German Academy of Film Art (German: Deutsche Hochschule für Filmkunst) was founded on November 1, 1954, at Babelsberg Palace in Potsdam-Babelsberg, and was renamed the Film and Television Academy of the GDR in 1969. It was named after director Konrad Wolf in 1985, and it was renamed Academy for Film and Television in 1990. The Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg located in Oldenburg, Germany was founded in 1973, making it one of Germany‘s young universities. Witten/Herdecke University is a private, state-recognized, non-profit university in Witten, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. A business and technology-focused institution of applied sciences, Worms University of Applied Sciences (German: Hochschule Worms) is located in Worms, Germany. There are approximately 3,500 students enrolled in its three departments of business sciences, computer science, and tourism/travel management.
