The Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen University of Applied Sciences (also known as THM in German) is a Fachhochschule in Germany that offers bachelor's and master's degree programs in the cities of Giessen, Friedberg, and Wetzlar. It was established in 1971.
The THM regards itself as having a specific obligation to facilitate the integration of refugees through the provision of educational opportunities and provides a wide range of future-oriented courses in the economic and engineering sciences.
The Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen (THM) is an applied sciences university with a strong focus on research and a wide-ranging domestic and international network. Its research tackles difficulties and concerns in society, the economy, technology, and the environment that are present today and that will arise in the future, and it turns those issues and challenges into novel concepts.
THM has established interdisciplinary centers of competency with a focus on applied research in order to better define its research profile. The research teams in the centers of expertise give junior academics excellent research possibilities as well as chances to collaborate with peers domestically and abroad as well as with businesses.
All Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen students receive career guidance on themes such as application strategy, application document optimization, and professional goal-oriented study, through our partnership with the university team of the Employment Agency.
On the Gießen campus, in house A13, is where you can find the THM Fitness Studio. On the third floor, there are multi-gyms and cardio machines for exercise.
