FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences, with locations in Aachen and Jülich, is one of the largest and most significant universities of applied sciences in Germany, with more than 15,000 students, nearly 2,000 graduates per year, ten faculties, more than hundred degree programs, twelve internal and five affiliated institutes, and four competence platforms. Here, 900 people are employed in administration, teaching, and research, including about 240 professors. One of the top applied research institutions in Germany is what FH Aachen aspires to be. Its expertise is mostly in the domains of energy, mobility, and life sciences, as well as in digitalization and industrial production. Results of recent research are immediately applied to teaching.
