With the program Media  Technology and Society  Digital media are having an ever greater impact on society. It is therefore vital for companies to keep pace  especially as they are increasingly reaching their target groups via online media. They therefore need experts who keep an eye on technological developments and at the same time reflect on these interactions with social trends and make strategic use of them. Their education is in the Master programme „Media  Technology and Society“. The graduates are experts in the development  planning  implementation and evaluation of new forms of communication  media and study methods for journalism  marketing and communication. At the same time  they are sensitized to the ethical dimensions of digitization  for example with regard to the use of data. 

Step 1
Apply online via the uni-assist portal. Note the necessary application documents that you need to upload there (no postal submissions). About 4 weeks after receipt of your application  uni-assist will inform you about the current processing status. If your application is formally correct  your data will be forwarded to the Hochschule Darmstadt. 

Step 2
If your application is successful  you will receive a letter of admission from the Hochschule Darmstadt. This letter of admission contains a binding enrolment date and a list of documents that you must submit by Email in order to enrol. 

Incomplete or incorrect documents will result in the cancellation of the notification of admission! The place originally allocated to you will then be allocated to someone else.

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

Admission requirement is a Bachelor or diploma degree in the field of media sciences or a related field with 180 CP.

The Master program Urban agglomeration is Worldwide  rapid urban change is an irreversible global process today  leading to new and highly integrated forms
of large urban  metropolitan and regional networks and agglomerations. Globalisation and an increase in international migration lead to additional challenges for urban planning  management and development  meeting the demands of new
groups in society with diversified national  socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. These developments entail serious demographic  economic  environmental and social changes – applying both  though in different and manifold ways  to the agglomerations of the so-called developing world (still in a phase of continuous expansion) and those of the developed world (where extension and shrinking processes can be
found all at once).

The MSc in Marketing and Digital Media is a  innovative programme that integrates the most recent digital developments with current marketing and media knowledge. Course mainly focuses on the digital marketing field to provide the students an integrative view of the different digital marketing tools and how they can play an important role in building a brand. It also puts an emphasis on how to apply marketing techniques and key strategic marketing aspects in an increasingly digital and globalised world. This way, during the learning process, it equips students with the skills and knowledge to succeed in an international, cutting-edge career in marketing. 

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

If applicants do not have an official English certificate (IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC), obtained within the last 2 years, will be invited to take the ESCP English Proficiency Test, which is completely online

Due to accreditation regulations, students starting with less than 240 ECTS will need to obtain an additional 30 ECTS at ESCP Business School. The school will offer additional course options for those students. The corresponding fee for these ECTS is 3,000 EUR.

EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht (literally "university for business and law"), more commonly referred to as EBS Universität or simply EBS, is a private, state-approved research university for business and law located in Wiesbaden and Oestrich-Winkel, founded in 1971. The university's activities focus on three core areas: undergraduate degree programs, postgraduate degree programs and executive education. 
 
 The EBS Universität has the right to award doctorates and habilitations and is the oldest private university in Germany. With the foundation of its law faculty in 2010, the former European Business School was awarded university status in 2011, forming the EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht. EBS Universität now has three schools: EBS Business School, EBS Law School, and EBS Executive School. These provide a wide range of degrees, from the Bachelor and the first legal examination to the Master, MBA, and Executive MBA, as well as continuing education programs. Before it developed into one of the most significant and research-focused institutions of applied sciences in Germany, it was founded in Pforzheim to satisfy the demand for specialists in the jewelry industry and science. Public university Ulm University of Applied Sciences was established in 1960. Ulm, Baden-Württemberg, Germany is home to Ulm University of Applied Sciences.

In 1960, it opened as a public engineering school, and in March 2019, it changed its name to a technical university. The university is made up of six colleges and 13 institutes that span a variety of subject areas, such as computer science, medical engineering, and mechatronics. There are about 4,200 students enrolled, and there are more than 35 academic options, including five international programs.

The study programs of the Ulm University of Applied Sciences are mostly focused on the technological industry.
