The Bavarian Business School, abbreviated HDBW, is a private, state-recognized university of applied sciences that offers innovative courses that combine business, technology, and digitization. The Bildungswerk der Bayerischen Wirtschaft is in charge (bbw). The main campus is in Munich-Riem, with a study center in Bamberg.
The HDBW offers practical education in close collaboration with Bavarian and international companies. Students can earn bachelor's and master's degrees in business administration, industrial engineering, business informatics, mechanical engineering, and digitization. Aside from the traditional full-time course, there are part-time and dual course options. Practical training for technical courses takes place in the laboratories of HDBW cooperation partners.
There are three study time models for the Bachelor and two study time models for the Master. Students can obtain Bachelor Degree in the fields of Business Administration, Industrial engineering, Business Informatics / Business Intelligence and Mechanical engineering. On the other hand, HDBW offers Masters courses in the topics like Digital Business Modeling & Entrepreneurship (MA), Cyber Security (MSc), Digital Factory and Operational Excellence (M.Sc.) and Digital Technologies (M.Eng.).
Throughout studies, student benefit from constant practical relevance through our close networking with numerous business associations as well as Bavarian and international companies from a wide variety of industries. The HDBW is bound by the quality standards of state higher education and is supervised by the Bavarian Ministry of Science to ensure that its rules and standards are observed. Studying at the HDBW does not differ in terms of form and content from studying at a state university.
