Jade University of Applied Sciences (German: Jade Hochschule) is a public university in the German state of Lower Saxony. It was established in 2009 to replace the Fachhochschule Oldenburg/Ostfriesland/Wilhelmshaven. With approximately 6,700 students, the university has campuses in Wilhelmshaven, Oldenburg, and Elsfleth. The Jade River inspired the name of the university.
