The Intercultural Conflict Management Master programme revolves around the premise that social conflicts materialize in the space of manifold interrelated social worlds. Accordingly  social conflicts never correspond with the space of one particular social world  but they represent an overarching continuum which stretches out over the space of several intermingled social worlds. For this reason  the programme is structured into four interrelated Area of studies which break down social conflicts from distinct but intertwined perspectives  in order to bring forward social actions aimed at the participatory resolution of conflicts: A “Social World and Power Relations”  B “Research  Action  and Networking”  C “Specialization Seminars and Workshops”  and D “Thesis and Colloquia”.These four Area of study are not to be conceptualized as accumulative elements  but they are inherently correlated and come about in parallel from the beginning up to the end of the programme.
The M.A. programme will be of most interest to individuals who are professionally active or have an academic interest in environments characterised by cultural diversity and conflict. These elements are frequently encountered in multi-ethnic contexts where competing group interests exist and where individuals have regulatory/control responsibilities requiring additional intercultural competence and mediation abilities.

With the future in mind, the Deggendorf University of Applied Sciences has made it through the gradual development of appealing fields of study, supplemented by an appealing range of further education, intensive research activities and knowledge and technology transfer to the regional economy, picking up on economic and social trends, and cultivating regional and international contacts.
 
 Over 8,000 young people are currently studying in Deggendorf, Pfarrkirchen, and Cham. More than one-third of them come from other countries to study in Lower Bavaria. Since 1946, the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz has been a public research university in Mainz, Rhineland Palatinate, Germany. It is one of Germany's largest universities, with approximately 32,000 students spread across 100 schools and clinics. The university was reorganized into 11 faculties of study on January 1, 2005. 
 
 The university is a member of the German U15, a coalition of fifteen of Germany's most prestigious and research-intensive medical universities. The Johannes Gutenberg University is regarded as one of Germany's most prestigious institutions. The Academic Ranking of World Universities 2017 and the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2017 place it among the top 300 universities in the world.
 
 Almost all the institutions and facilities of the University of Mainz are housed on the site of a former barracks in the city's south-west. The university medical center, Mainz Academy of Arts (Kunsthochschule Mainz), as well as the Department of Applied Linguistics and Cultural Sciences, are located off campus in Germersheim. The University of Giessen, officially known as Justus Liebig University Giessen, is a large public research university in Giessen, Hesse, Germany. It is named after its most famous faculty member, Justus von Liebig, the inventor of artificial fertilizer and the founder of modern agricultural chemistry. Arts/humanities, business, dentistry, economics, law, medicine, science, social sciences, and veterinary medicine are all covered.  One of the most important tasks of the JLU is knowledge transfer within the framework of highly qualified and research-oriented teaching. The Kehl University of Applied Sciences is a university that offers bachelor's degrees exclusively for public service jobs. Its main task is to train civil servants for higher administrative service in the state, the municipality, the districts and other bodies, institutions and foundations under public law that are subject to state supervision. She shares this task with the University of Public Administration and Finance in Ludwigsburg, with whom she works closely because the students of both universities have to pass the same state examination.
 
 The University of Public Administration in Kehl is one of Germany's most prestigious institutions of its kind. It was established in 1971 and grew in the 1980s. Currently, 44 full-time professors and approximately 250 lecturers are teaching. The Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences is a public university with two campuses. One site is in Magdeburg, the capital city of Saxony-Anhalt, and the other is in Stendal.
