Overview

The Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences, often known as HSRW or Hochschule Rhein-Waal, is a new and rapidly expanding public university in Germany that was founded for the 2009–10 winter semester. The bulk of its degree programs are offered entirely in English, making it the most globally focused institution in Germany. The two campuses of HSRW are situated in Kleve and Kamp-Lintfort. The German Rhine and the Dutch Waal are the inspirations for the names of the university. Through its four faculties—the Faculty of Technology & Bionics, Faculty of Life Sciences, Faculty of Society and Economics, and Faculty of Communication and Environment—it provides a variety of academic programs in both English and German, all are accredited by AQAS and ASIIN. Currently, HSRW provides 25 bachelor's degree programs and eleven master's degree programs in a variety of scientific disciplines, including engineering, technology, economics, social, natural, and health sciences. Their multimodal curricula offer students regular opportunities to apply theory in hands-on projects, labs, and exercises that are intended to get them ready for their future employment. They also provide a strong scientific and methodological education. They give students many more opportunities to gain significant work experience and credentials before graduating with the aid of their business partners. Thanks to their numerous partner universities, students at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences have many different options when planning a semester abroad. Additionally, the exchange students from our partner universities can find important information about studying at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences at the international office. To infer, the university has a strong international campus culture and a thriving intercultural interchange of knowledge and experience.
