Private German university of applied sciences Steinbeis-Hochschule Berlin (SHB) or Steinbeis University was established in 1998. The university has additional campuses in Baden-Württemberg in addition to its main campus in Berlin. The majority of the university's economics courses are extracurricular. There are undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs available. The Steinbeis Foundation is the sole owner of the university.
The SHB has more than 4000 employed professionals registered. In the fields of technology, management and economics, they offer bachelor's and master's courses as well as research programs. And no matter how different their individual offers may be, they all refer to the ideas and way of thinking of Steinbeis at their core.
The Steinbeis University maintains a transfer-oriented approach to both research and instruction. The deliberate, practice-focused development of its own research resources serves as the foundation for this. In doing so, it emphasizes a harmonious interaction between basic research and applied research, which is routinely included into the improvement of competencies.
The Steinbeis platform has already been used to launch more than 2,000 businesses. As a result, there is a network of more than 6,000 experts working in roughly 1,100 businesses who complete projects for more than 10,000 clients annually. Companies and employees are thereby given the professional assistance they need to develop their talents and, as a result, succeed in the marketplace.
The goal of a personality that is thoroughly educated in theory and practice is one that students work toward with each assignment they complete while pursuing their education. Along with a strong scientific emphasis, our students also learn critical skills for the development of their personalities and are well-prepared for the job market.
