The University of Potsdam is a public university located in Potsdam, the state capital of Brandenburg, Germany, that was established in 1991. The majority of it is spread out over three campuses in the city. The Institution of Potsdam, which is currently the biggest university in Brandenburg, is mostly spread among three campuses on the outskirts of the city. The campus Am Neuen Palais, which is in the immediate proximity of the Park of Sanssouci, is home to the Faculty of Arts. In rural Golm, where one of the largest science parks of the region has grown, there are the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Human Sciences. The Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences, the Law Faculty and Faculty of Digital Engineering are in Griebnitzsee, not very far from Babelsberg with its historical film studios. It has a staff of 359 total professors where Jointly-appointed professors are 83 and Junior professors with and without tenure track are 28 International Partnerships include 96, of which 63 are university partnerships and 33 are faculty partnerships. International Degree Programs 27 (incl. fast tracks) from which 20 of them in English To fulfill their visitors' high expectations for excellence, all of the common areas and cafeterias on university campuses have undergone renovations or reconstruction.
