The (Research) Master degree programme in Quantitative Economics (QE) is organized jointly by the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics and the Center for Mathematical Economics (IMW). Its quantitative analytical approach to economics provides the relevant skills to model and solve economic problems on an abstract level and to transfer the analytic solutions to real world applications. This encourages a flexible and creative approach to complex economic issues like those found typically in the real world.
Students can choose between two different tracks of the Master degree programme: The regular programme QE and the international track of QE. Both offer the same contents but the international track includes usually student exchanges at partner universities  because one of the two examiners of the Master thesis needs to be a member of the partner university.

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

The Semester contributions totaling 321.74 EUR must be paid each semester it includes Semester ticket 153.89 EUR, Studierendenwerk 91.00 EUR, NRW - Ticket 58.50 EUR and General contribution 18.35 EUR

With the program Media  Technology and Society  Digital media are having an ever greater impact on society. It is therefore vital for companies to keep pace  especially as they are increasingly reaching their target groups via online media. They therefore need experts who keep an eye on technological developments and at the same time reflect on these interactions with social trends and make strategic use of them. Their education is in the Master programme „Media  Technology and Society“. The graduates are experts in the development  planning  implementation and evaluation of new forms of communication  media and study methods for journalism  marketing and communication. At the same time  they are sensitized to the ethical dimensions of digitization  for example with regard to the use of data. 

Step 1
Apply online via the uni-assist portal. Note the necessary application documents that you need to upload there (no postal submissions). About 4 weeks after receipt of your application  uni-assist will inform you about the current processing status. If your application is formally correct  your data will be forwarded to the Hochschule Darmstadt.

If your application is successful  you will receive a letter of admission from the Hochschule Darmstadt. This letter of admission contains a binding enrolment date and a list of documents that you must submit by Email in order to enrol. 

Incomplete or incorrect documents will result in the cancellation of the notification of admission! The place originally allocated to you will then be allocated to someone else.

Admission requirement is a Bachelor or diploma degree in the field of media sciences or a related field with 180 CP.

The Northern Institute of Technology Management (NIT) is a university in Hamburg. The institute was founded in 1998 by 40 Hamburg University of Technology professors (TUHH). International engineers, scientists, and business-related graduates complete the NIT program and learn to master leadership and management tasks responsibly and sustainably. The institute provides an English-language master's degree program in Technology Management (M.A. and MBA), as well as a variety of professional training courses and workshops.
 
 The Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) and the Deutschen Akkreditierungsrat have both accredited the Technology Management study program. The entire program is written in English. The institute trains German and international students to be technology executives. Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences (RWU) (German: Hochschule Ravensburg-Weingarten) is a public university in the city of Weingarten, in the southern part of the German state of Baden-Württemberg. The university was founded in 1962. Applied Physics and Process Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Automotive and Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Business & Technology Management, as well as Social Work and Healthcare Management, are among the advanced fields that the university tracks. 
 
 Today, Ravensburg-Weingarten University offers 35[2] undergraduate and graduate degree programs in German and English in four faculties: The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, the Faculty of Technology and Management and the Faculty of Social Work, Health and Nursing. The University of Applied Sciences in Neubrandenburg was established in 1991 and has grown to become a regional academic hub and driving force in teaching, research, and continuing education. It began with two academic programs and 164 students about 25 years ago.

There are currently 33 Bachelor's and Master's degrees available from 25 faculties to about 2,100 young people. At the University of Applied Science, research and teaching are conducted using a practical approach.

The Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences offers the possibility for visiting students from partner universities outside the ERASMUS region to study there for one to two semesters based on current cooperation agreements.

In order to enroll in an ERASMUS program at the Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences for one or two semesters, international students from partner universities must submit an application to the international office of their home institution's ERASMUS coordinator.

The University of Siegen is a public research university with its headquarters in Siegen, North Rhine-Westphalia. It is a member of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, an association of Germany's top research universities. 1972 saw the founding of the university.

The Weidenau neighborhood on Siegen's northeastern side is home to the majority of the university buildings. Every semester, the International Office provides a Welcome week where international students are assisted with their first steps in Siegen (walking through the city, opening a bank account, registration for medical insurance, etc.). Offerings over the semester include high ropes courses, intercultural training, and tours to adjacent cities.
