International joint Master degree programme in Advanced Mineral Resources Development – AMRD provides acquisition of knowledge and competence in developing sustainability and environmentally friendly methods in mining and mine remediation under economical considerations. All students complete the first semester at Montanuniversität Leoben, Austria, the second semester at TU Bergakademie Freiberg, Germany, the third semester at one of the following partner universities: Amirkabir University of Technology Tehran, Iran, China University of Mining and Technology Beijing, China, St. Petersburg Mining University, Russia, The Instituto Superior Técnico of the Universidade de Lisboa, Portugal or Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain.

Entry Requirements

Minimum requirement includes an academic degree (with the minimum required duration of seven semesters or with 210 achieved ECTS) from a recognised domestic or foreign post-secondary educational institution in the field of mining or relevant field, particularly Mining, Tunnelling, Geotechnical engineering, Processing of mineral resources, Applied geosciences, Mine-surveying or Industrial engineering.
