Data and Discourse Studies is and interdisciplinary course of studies in discourse analysis with a focus on research data. Discourse analysis deals with the relationship between language, knowledge and society. The focus is on combining language analysis with historical, sociological, philosophical or political science research.  A central point is the handling of research data, their processing and digital analysis.  The course focuses on how these data are collected, organized, analyzed, and interpreted. Students can choose the specialization in addition to one of the following Bachelor degree programs: Digital Media and Marketing (Bachelor of Science), Digital Business and Data Science (Bachelor of Science), Game Design (Bachelor of Arts) or 
Sports and Event Management (Bachelor of Science). The specialization is characterized by an interdisciplinary character, which includes both creative and design as well as economic and organizational content.
