Bachelor degree in Applied Mathematics set the goal of opening up prospects for young people to undertake challenging scientific or practical work in the field of mathematics and Its applications in an increasingly technical, digital world. The focus is on the training of mathematicians who work at the interface to computer science and information technology and are able to solve difficult and complex mathematical problems in the field of digital media quickly and effectively using computers. The course promotes the training of independent and creative working methods and conveys the ability for lifelong learning, teamwork and interdisciplinarity.

Minimum requirement includes general higher education entrance qualification or the subject-specific higher education entrance qualification (for the relevant subject) or technical college entrance qualification.
Students who have completed their studies in English do not need any additional proof of language proficiency
Following are recognised as proof: German Abitur certificate with an Advanced course in English and at least the grade (2.0 or 11 points) on average over the last 4 school semesters or FCE- First Certificate in English
