The (Research) Master degree programme in Quantitative Economics (QE) is organized jointly by the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics and the Center for Mathematical Economics (IMW). Its quantitative analytical approach to economics provides the relevant skills to model and solve economic problems on an abstract level and to transfer the analytic solutions to real world applications. This encourages a flexible and creative approach to complex economic issues like those found typically in the real world.
Students can choose between two different tracks of the Master degree programme: The regular programme QE and the international track of QE. The research-oriented international Master degree program in Biotechnology allows for a post-bachelor’s specialized training in cell biology  microbiology  bioanalytics and Laboratory Diagnostics. In addition to solid theoretical training incorporating the most up-to-date scientific knowledge  the Master degree programme offers an exceptionally high proportion of practical training in modern laboratory methods. Within small project groups students learn to carry out scientific experiments and how to document and present them. The programme is internationally oriented and all courses are given in English. The Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences offers the possibility for visiting students from partner universities outside the ERASMUS region to study there for one to two semesters based on current cooperation agreements.

In order to enroll in an ERASMUS program at the Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences for one or two semesters, international students from partner universities must submit an application to the international office of their home institution's ERASMUS coordinator.

The University of Applied Sciences in Neubrandenburg actively supports efforts to balance family and career or family and studies as a family-friendly institution by establishing family-friendly work and study conditions as well as a social environment that also permits students with families to pursue their studies, work, and research.

University of Applied Sciences Neubrandenburg

The University of Bayreuth is a public research university founded in 1975 as a campus university situated in Bayreuth, Germany. It is broadly divided into seven undergraduate and graduate faculties, each of which establishes its own entrance requirements and academic offerings with a high degree of autonomy.

In thier more than 160 degree programs, which are offered in seven faculties in the scientific sciences, food sciences, engineering, law, and economics as well as language, literature, and cultural studies, are primarily comprised of interdisciplinary research and teaching. On its campuses in Bayreuth and Kulmbach, the University of Bayreuth employs approximately 13,000 students, 1,647 academic staff—including 259 professors—and 1024 non-academic workers. As a result, it ranks among the biggest employers in the area.

This university is currently one of Germany's most prosperous new universities. According to the "Times Higher Education (THE) Young University Ranking," the University of Bayreuth is placed 45th out of the top 475 universities in the world for students under the age of 50.

Over 300 comprehensive strategic bilateral alliances are now maintained by the University of Bayreuth in the fields of research and education. Strategic partnerships, high-priority partnerships, and regular partnerships are the three types of partnerships.

The University of Bayreuth is also making a name for itself in the field of research: the Africa Multiple Cluster of Excellence conducts cutting-edge research on a global scale, the Bavarian Research Institute of Experimental Geochemistry & Geophysics - BGI is renowned for its excellence, and polymer and colloid research is a key driver of innovation for materials of the future.

University of Bayreuth

The University of Greifswald is a university based in the Hanseatic city of Greifswald. It was founded in 1456 and is one of the oldest universities in Central Europe.

It is a comprehensive university because of the variety of topics it offers. Around 10,400 students attend school in Greifswald, with about two-thirds coming from outside Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, including numerous Erasmus and other foreign students from over 90 nations. Every year, a large number of students from all over the world come to Greifswald for a variety of reasons, including full-time study, student exchanges, internships, language courses, and more. Like people themselves, the opportunities are varied.

The university now has 840 international students. The majority of  international students are from Russia and the Syrian Arab Republic. International collaborations in both research and education have reached numerous continents and nations. More than 200 universities maintain exchange relationships with the university today. Presently, there are scholars and students from more than 90 different nations who are studying abroad. 

A total of more than 100 degree-granting courses, many of which are interdisciplinary, are offered by five faculties, along with 13 courses for continuing education.

The University of Greifswald has signed agreements with academic institutions all over the world, and new collaborations are often formed. It has 186 Erasmus partnerships at 600 locations throughout 39 countries, as well as 29 university partnerships.

University of Greifswald

The University of Hohenheim is a German campus university that is situated in the region south of Stuttgart. It is Stuttgart's oldest university and was established in 1818. Agriculture and the natural sciences had historically been its key areas of expertise. The bulk of its students nowadays, however, are enrolled in one of the several study programs provided by the faculty of business, economics, and social sciences. The University of Hohenheim is one of Germany's top universities in these subjects since its faculty is consistently rated among the best in the country. The institution participates in various collaborative research initiatives and has academic relationships with a number of partner universities.

The number of degree programs are 40 in total. Whereas 12  are Bachelor’s and 26 are Master’s programs. With that, there is 1 Bachelor’s Teacher Program, 1 Master’s Teacher Program, and 3 Doctorate as well.

The total number of students are 8,675, of which 4,996 are women and also 1,276 with an International background.	

In addition to fitness, health, and well-being, university life emphasizes the opportunity for social interaction and integration in a laid-back setting. With more than 60 different sports and roughly 120 different course options available, University Sports gives all members the ability to exercise on campus.

Student organizations progress the university and enhance campus life. The diverse spectrum of student interests is displayed by them. Political activism, ecological, economic, or social movements, as well as lived faith in a variety of religious movements and worldviews, are all included in the efforts. The Student Parliament, run by AStA, grants accreditation as a student organisation.


University of Hohenheim

The University of Rostock (German: Universität Rostock) founded in 1419 is a public university located in Rostock, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. For certain postgraduate studies, German and English are the primary languages of instruction.

The University of Rostock now has about 14,000 students and 2,933 employees (including 2,926 in the medical care industry), and it provides fascinating insights on almost all scientific subjects. The University of Rostock has excellent interdisciplinary research fields at its disposal in the fields of natural and technological sciences, medicine, life sciences, humanities, and cultural studies thanks to the four profile lines Life, Light, and Matter, Maritime Systems, Aging Science and Humanities, and Knowledge, Culture, and Transformation. 

The scientific literature and information is available for research, instruction, and study at the Rostock University Library, which consists of three divisional libraries and various specialist libraries. Approximately 3 million physical volumes are listed in the catalog, according to university data.

The University of Rostock is the oldest institution of higher learning in the Baltic Sea region, having inherited a distinguished history of approximately 600 years of study and research. The new departments, which provide more than 100 different degree programs, currently house about 14,000 students. If an international student currently enrolled at the University of Rostock wants to switch to a different subject or course of study, they must first determine whether the requested subject or course of study is admission-restricted or admission-free.

Although there are many more organizations with which the university may collaborate and exchange students, it has already established cooperation agreements with a number of foreign universities.


University of Rostock

The University of Siegen is a public research university with its headquarters in Siegen, North Rhine-Westphalia. It is a member of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, an association of Germany's top research universities. 1972 saw the founding of the university.

The Weidenau neighborhood on Siegen's northeastern side is home to the majority of the university buildings. The Adolf-Reichwein-Straße campus in Haardter Berg has amenities like the largest lecture rooms, the central canteen, the central library, as well as a portion of the center for information and media technology.

It has 5 faculties, 51 study courses, a unique study concept in the School of Arts and Humanities with three study models, as well as 9 lecture courses (after school forms, Bachelor / Master), broken down into 138 part-study courses, and 17,659 students (winter term 2021/2022) and 3,495 Freshmen (2021/2022).

There are several student clubs and organizations, including the student-run radio station Radius 92.1 and the student television show Campus TV. Every semester, the International Office provides a Welcome week where international students are assisted with their first steps in Siegen (walking through the city, opening a bank account, registration for medical insurance, etc.). Offerings over the semester include high ropes courses, intercultural training, and tours to adjacent cities.
