Automation and Control deals with steering and controlling of complex systems such as production lines, distributed grids, or on-chip / on-board architectures. Safety and security are two fundamental design paradigms for this discipline. During your Master studies, you will gain deep knowledge in the areas of control theory, modeling and identification, development of safe and secure systems, and mechatronic systems.

The Semester contributions totaling 259.54 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Student union fee 99.00 EUR, AStA (Student body contribution fee) 13.00 EUR and VRN semester ticket + West Palatinate fee 147.54 EUR
When enrolling, an additional 10 EUR is charged for the creation of the chip card as a student ID
Students over the age of 60 must pay a fee of 700 EUR
Minimum requirement includes a Bachelor degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related area. The Bachelor grade shall be not lower than 1.7 in the German grading system (in general relates to B in the ECTS grading system) or equivalent.
English native speakers are exempt from proving language proficiency
Applicants should submit short description of the subjects covered during previous studies (for example a syllabus)
Applicants from the People’s Republic of China, Mongolia, India and Vietnam must submit APS certificate
