In a highly interdisciplinary approach, students will be trained in Advanced methods and theoretical concepts in fields that form the interface to Biophysics: Chemistry, Biology and Physics. Within the first year of the program, students attend several compulsory and elective modules that Advanced their competencies in the field, such as Statistical Physics, Quantum Mechanics and Quantum Optics, Complex Systems in Biology, Biophysics of Photosynthesis, Molecular, Cellular and Medical Biophysics Systems Biology, Models of Neural Systems and Neurobiophysics.

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

Elite Master of Science program in Neuroengineering combines experimental and theoretical neuroscience with profound training in engineering. It offers the chance to receive an optional Research Excellence Certificate.

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

The Master degree program in Data Engineering and Analytics deals with innovative solutions for handling and analyzing very large amounts of data. The program steps up to developments and provides an education that on the one hand enables graduates to design and plan industry grade solutions in the area of Big Data, on the other hand creates a solid starting point for ventures into research.
