The Master program in Business Informatics combines aspects of Informatics with aspects of Business Administration, and provides you with the opportunity to explore the two areas further. The Master program places great emphasis on putting theoretical knowledge into practice, and we cooperate with renowned partners from the corporate world. An integral part of the program is the team project. Students work on it for one or two semesters, thereby acquiring expert knowledge in their field and developing social skills, such as project management and team work abilities.

The Semester contributions totaling 194.30 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Administration fee 70 EUR, Student Union fee 110.30 EUR and Constituted student body fee 14 EUR
Students from the EU and the EEA, or international students who obtained their Abitur or equivalent in Germany, are also not required to pay tuition fee and second degree students have to pay 650 EUR
Applicants need to have a Bachelor degree in Business Informatics to be admitted to the Master program in Business Informatics. A degree in a different field is sufficient if it is recognized as equivalent by the admissions committee. The following requirements must be met: a total of 30 ECTS credits in informatics (8 of which must have been obtained in programming), a total of 30 ECTS credits in economics/business administration or business informatics, and a total of 18 ECTS credits in mathematics or statistics.
The admissions committee takes the following criteria into account when preparing a ranking in the selection process: 1. the final grade or the current average grade of the Bachelor program 2. the letter of motivation written by the applicant, and 3. the academic paper written by the Applicants (essay).
Following are accepted as proof of English language proficiency: continuous attendance of English classes throughout the German secondary school education with a minimum average of 7 points, or a university entrance qualification from a school with English as the language of instruction or successful completion of a program of study at a higher education institution with English as the language of instruction and examination
Following test results also serve as proof of English proficiency: Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) or Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE)
Applicants have to submit APS certificate if they have acquired qualification in China, India or Vietnam
Applicants requesting hardship exemptions has to upload necessary documents
