This degree program is aimed at graduates of Bachelor programs in the fields of Technology and computer science  as well as graduates of business-related degree programs with a focus on Technology. Over the course of three semesters  students acquire the skills necessary to come up with interdisciplinary solutions to safety and security problems in the areas of industrial automation  control systems and critical infrastructure. This practical degree program focuses on a range of subjects including IT security  data protection  functional security  IT law and employee management.

The Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Industrial Safety and Security is a bilingual study program. Languages of instruction are German (50 %) and English (50%).

Applications can be submitted between 15 november – 15 December via the online application portal of Augsburg University of Applied Sciences.

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

The semester fee of 121.75 EUR comprises the student Services fee of 62.00 EUR and  semester ticket of 59.75 EUR

In TOEIC, the listening level should be 430, the reading level should be 400.

Industrial Safety and Security

The consecutive Digital Engineering Master programme combines academically specialised expertise from the Civil Engineering and Computer Science and Media disciplines. The coursework is centred on a practical transfer of methodical interrelations between engineering and computer science for complete digitisation of design  manufacturing  and application processes. In this international Master programme you will use a range of modelling concepts as a basis for experimentation with complex processes in computer-aided modelling  simulation and visualisation of engineering problems. In addition  you will deepen your knowledge of information-theory methods of data generation and data handling. The aim is the representation  interpretation  evaluation  and optimisation of interdisciplinary processes in construction  mechanical engineering and other industrial fields. Following the long Bauhaus tradition  projects  use cases and methods for digital civil engineering move into focus. However  the underlying principles and concepts are generally applicable for Industry 4.0.
This prepares graduates of the English-language Digital Engineering Master programme in a targeted way for work in the field of virtual product and process modelling and optimisation. They are active in a diverse range of fields such as technical administration  model management  engineering analysis and consulting  technical data analysis  as well as software and product development for digital networking in industry.

The Bachelor of Science in Clean Energy Processes programme provides students with a comprehensive understanding in clean energy processes. The course of study is modularised and encourages a specialisation in one of the two fields  “Culture and Literature” and “Linguistics and Applied Linguistics”  but also allows students to opt for no specialisation. Culture and Literature enables students to combine specially designed courses on literary and cultural history and theory with a broad range  of interdisciplinary modules.

English Studies

Chemical engineers engage themselves in the subject areas that shape our modern world. They know the processes  reactions and techniques required to produce steel  refine fuel and generate energy. Our Master programme in Chemical Engineering will optimally qualify you for work in research and development or for managerial responsibilities in industry or in the civil service.

You will not need to demonstrate your knowledge of English if you obtained your Bachelor’s degree from the Department of Chemical Engineering of Münster University of Applied Sciences  if you completed a degree programme delivered in English or if you can prove that English is your mother tongue. In all other cases  the Examination Committee shall decide on the basis of your application.

The “Finance and Management” (Bachelor of Science) course is a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus on finance. As a Finance Manager you will later take on a key position in companies and will be responsible for money management. In order to commence your studies with us, you must first successfully complete our selection process. The interviews take place regularly and are carried out via Skype.
