Study program in Civil Engineering addresses planning, design, management and construction of engineering structures and physical infrastructures that is essential to society sustainability and community growth. The program prepares Its undergraduate students to meet job requirements of the consulting engineering firms, government agencies, construction companies, and engineering industries. Students become aware of the potential diverse roles the can be assumed by a civil engineer as member of an office design team, a site technical supervision crew, and/or member of a field project management group, working in fields of, e.g., construction management, infrastructures including highway, water and sanitary systems, reinforced concrete and steel design, transportation planning and public transport.

Students have to pay a non-refundable evaluation tests fee of 80 EUR when invited for the admission test

additionally, students have to pay a deposit of 420 EUR as insurance for use of labs (refundable at the end of academic studies after deduction of damages)

Students can pay their tuition fee in monthly basis also. The tuition fee per month is 619.17 EUR

Entry Requirements

Minimum requirement includes university entrance qualification accepted in Germany. For those without such entrance qualification acceptance at GIU requires to have successfully studied at least one year at any other German university abroad (recognized by GIU admission).

As a part of selection process the applicants have to take an admission test that includes reasoning test, English language test (only for applicants who don't possess any English language certificate), and a short interview with university staff.
