The Northern Institute of Technology Management (NIT) is a university in Hamburg. The institute was founded in 1998 by 40 Hamburg University of Technology professors (TUHH). International engineers, scientists, and business-related graduates complete the NIT program and learn to master leadership and management tasks responsibly and sustainably. The institute provides an English-language master's degree program in Technology Management (M.A. and MBA), as well as a variety of professional training courses and workshops.
 
 The Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) and the Deutschen Akkreditierungsrat have both accredited the Technology Management study program. The entire program is written in English. The institute trains German and international students to be technology executives. Every October, between 25 and 37 students begin the Technology Management study program, with the goal of graduating with a Master's or MBA.
