Master

The Master program provides the in-depth knowledge required for a more research-oriented professional activity in epidemiological fields, as well as the skills to develop and communicate scientific results. Epidemiology examines the distribution and influencing factors of health-related conditions and events in the population and applied the knowledge gained to control health problems. The aim of the Epidemiology Master program is to safely analyze health challenges at national and international level, to plan and conduct studies and to implement their results.

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

The Semester contributions totaling 337.39 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Semester ticket fee 226.14 EUR, Student union fee 94.00 EUR, Constituted student body fee 13.10 EUR, Student sports committee general university sports fee 1.60 EUR and Student aid fund  AStA (General Student Committee) fee 2.55 EUR

Degree in an English-language course or ESOL, CAE, CPE can also be used as proof of language proficiency

The Master of Science in Digital Health is a program jointly founded by the Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI) and the University of Potsdam (UP). During their studies, students acquire the skills to analyze, design and implement complex and secure IT systems and infrastructures in the healthcare field. They further deal with ethical and legal issues of relevance in the conception of health systems. Master graduates can apply their interdisciplinary skills to leadership roles in research or industry in a variety of ways. 

The Semester contributions totaling 316.00 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Student Service fee 50.00 EUR, Student body fee 15.00 EUR Enrollment and re-registration fee 51.00 EUR and Semester ticket fee 200.00 EUR

Accepted proof of English language proficiency include UNIcert III or IV, degree certificate for the completion of an English-language degree program, College English Test (CET): CET-6 with at least 550 points

Digital Health

Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI)

The Master degree program in Physics students acquire the necessary skills to become acquainted with current topics in physics, to design and conduct experiments or theoretical methods in this field, to categorize the results and to draw conclusions for application to technical developments and scientific progress. Career prospects include Basic or industry research, application-based development, technical and administrative planning, quality assurance, consulting, sales, teaching and management, in industry and at public authorities.

The Semester contributions totaling 290.30 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Student Union fee 87.50 EUR, Student Council and Student Representation fee 7.60 EUR and Semester Ticket fee 195.20 EUR

Physics

Technische Universität Dresden

The Master program is research-oriented and comparable in time and orientation to the previous program in physics. In the course of the Master program, students acquire the ability to work independently on scientific issues. This ability is of fundamental importance, both for a later doctorate and for a successful activity as a physicist outside research in later professional life.

The Semester contributions totalling 158.30 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Student Services Student union Tübingen-Hohenheim AöR fee 84.80 EUR, Administration fee 70.00 EUR and Student union fee 3.50 EUR

University of Tübingen

The Bachelor study programme in Software Development focuses on topics that determines the future, they include virtual reality, artificial intelligence and cloud programming. Strong foundations for starting career as a software developer, from statistical and mathematical knowledge to programming language fluency is taught in this programme. The study programme in Software Development establishes knowledge in three major areas related to computer science they include Software engineering, Programming and technology skills, Methodological work skills. Career prospects include JavaScript Developer, Frontend Engineer, Backend Developer and so on.

Native speakers or applicants graduated from English-speaking school or university are exempted from providing proof of language proficiency

Software Development (Hybrid)

IU International University of Applied Sciences

The Bachelor program in focuses on educating students to be competent engineers with both economics qualifications and intercultural competences. This is a joint  international Bachelor degree programme offered by the Merseburg University of Applied Sciences and Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. On successful completion of all achievements in the programme students are offered the academic degree, Bachelor of Engineering on behalf of both the universities.

Native speakers and English language degree holders are exempted from providing proof of language proficiency

Merseburg University of Applied Sciences

Engineering Physics program provides you with skills and experience to develop new technologies and interdisciplinary engineering projects. Apart from profound basics in natural sciences, the students acquire practice-oriented skills from engineering and applied computer sciences. In this versatile study program the students learn how to solve problems scientifically and thus are prepared to meet the needs of future development and advances in technology.
The second year of the program takes place at one of our partner universities (USST Shanghai, China, University of Twente, Netherlands and University of Winnipeg, Netherland) where classes are taught in English. Students will focus on Analog Circuits, Physics, Mathematics, Software Design, Signals and Systems there.

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

The Semester contributions totaling 106.03 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Semester ticket 54.03 EUR and Student union fee 52 EUR
