Master program in Econometrics is offered jointly by the UA Ruhr Universities: TU Dortmund University, Ruhr-Universität Bochum, and the University of Duisburg-Essen (Essen campus). It combines the expertise of the three participating business departments in empirical economic research and economics with the methodologically oriented training in statistics and econometrics at Dortmund. This bundling of educational and research Competencies enables a specialized curriculum covering a wide range of topics in econometrics and economics.

Requirements
Entry Requirements
Minimum requirement includes a Bachelor degree in statistics, economics, mathematics, or a comparable field with a total of at least 180 ECTS credits. The Bachelor degree must have been achieved with at least a final grade of 2.7.
In addition, at least 15 ECTS credits are required in the area of economics and at least 25 ECTS credits are required in the area of mathematics, statistics, econometrics and empirical economic research. Moreover, an average grade of at least 3.0 must have been achieved in the modules corresponding to the area of mathematics, statistics, econometrics and empirical economic research.

Applicants from China, Vietnam or India need to submit APS certificate
Certificate of the online-assessment test and highest proof of German language skills must be submitted (if already acquired)
Additionally, applicants from Pakistan need to submit HEC Attestation Stamp on the subject and grade overviews of the previous studies and the degree
