The Master program in Economics is guided by a qualitative approach and based on mathematical key principles. The Semester contributions totaling 194.30 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Administration fee 70 EUR, Student Union fee 110.30 EUR and Constituted student body fee 14 EUR
Students from the EU and the EEA, or international students who obtained their Abitur or equivalent in Germany, are also not required to pay tuition fee and second degree students have to pay 650 EUR
Applicants need to have a Bachelor degree in Economics or an equivalent Bachelor degree corresponding to at least 180 ECTS credits or having a standard period of study of at least 6 semesters. At the time of applying, the final grade of the Bachelor degree or the current grade average of the coursework and examinations completed shall be 2.5 or better (German grading system). Degrees from neighboring fields such as Business Administration, Social Sciences, Political Science or Mathematics can only be recognized as equivalent by the admissions committee if the following minimum requirements are fulfilled: At least 60 ECTS credits (or equivalent) were obtained in courses related to economics, finance, mathematics, or statistics, and introduction modules in the following fields of economics have been successfully attended: macroeconomics, microeconomics, and econometrics.
Following as proof of English language proficiency: a higher education entrance qualification from a school with English as the language of instruction after at least two years of school
Or successful completion of a program of study where English is the language of instruction for at least a quarter of the courses
Following test results also serve as proof of English proficiency: Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) or Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE)
Applicants have to submit APS certificate if they have acquired qualification in China, India or Vietnam
Applicants requesting hardship exemptions has to upload necessary documents
