Master

Music therapy and other arts therapies are increasingly popular in healthcare, and the research base for these fields is growing. The degree programme in Music Therapy takes a total of two years, including an intensive placement phase. The range of classes includes practical music lessons, therapy techniques and scientific content. We focus on music therapy in psychiatry, psychosomatics, psychotherapy and neurology. In addition, you will learn how to use music in the therapeutic treatment of people in all kinds of life circumstances.

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

Students are required to pay a one-time registration fee of 750 EUR at the beginning of the degree programme

English Literature and Culture

The Master program is primarily intended for graduates of a law program at a German university, but is also open to students who have obtained a Bachelor degree in other fields. The Master program lasts a maximum of two years and includes one year abroad at Tongji University Shanghai. Students who take part in the written state examination in spring can bridge the "empty" phase until their oral examination in a meaningful way by taking up the double Master program in the summer semester and enrolling at Tongji University. The first part of the study program serves as a preparation for the one-year stay in Shanghai, which starts in the winter semester. In addition to the participation in a Chinese language course, the study program includes the attendance of a three-week summer school, which takes place alternately in Konstanz or Berlin. Bachelor program in Business Administration / International Marketing combines business administration with a strong specialization in the area of international marketing. Students have the chance to receive two Bachelor degrees: the International Marketing Bachelor of Pforzheim University and the foreign degree of the particular partner university.
Note: Students spend four semesters in Pforzheim and two semesters at the partner university. A one-semester internship in the area of marketing is also part of the program. There are eleven partner universities available for the double degree.

The tourism sector offers a broad and exciting range of careers; this cooperative study programme is designed in a correspondingly diverse and cosmopolitan way. Students on the Business Administration/International Tourism course receive training in alternating theoretical and practical phases, which qualify theme as professionals in selected areas of the tourism sector. Students will acquire business knowledge, focus on tourism related topics, apply specialist knowledge to concrete tourism projects and use practical phases in the sector as a springboard for working in the world of tourism.
