The Master programme in Electrical Engineering trains students with specific expertise in key areas of Microelectronics Design and Communication systems including theoretical foundations, practical skills and knowledge about application areas in Analogue and Digital Integrated Circuits, Semiconductor Physics, Photonics, Embedded Systems, Digital Communications and High-Frequency engineering.

The Semester contributions totalling 284.50 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Semester ticket including the NRW-Ticket fee 178.00 EUR, Soli-EUR fee 3.00 EUR, Social contribution of Student union fee 90.50 EUR and AStA contribution fee 13.00 EUR
Minimum requirement includes a Bachelor degree program of electrical/electronics engineering or equivalent with a solid basis in the area of the chosen study focus or an equivalent first degree qualifying for a profession.
English native speakers are exempt from proving language proficiency
English language proficiency can also be proven in the following ways: International Baccalaureate Standard Level (SL): score of 4 in English (as Language A or B), European Baccalaureate: score of 6 in English, high school diploma from any EU/EEA country and if English as one of the examination subjects or Bachelor degree from Germany or other EU/EEA countries with teaching of English as a subject
