HFT Stuttgart’s M.Eng in Smart City Solutions (SCS) is designed for professionals in the fields of architecture, urban design, urban planning, infrastructure or engineering; equipping them to take leading roles in complex international projects.

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

Semester contribution includes 122.20 EUR as student union fee, 70.00 EUR as administrative fee, 12.00 EUR as student union fee, and 11.00 EUR as student card fee (one-time fee at the beginning of your studies)

Graduates from higher education programs taught in the English language do not need to submit an English Language Certificate

The Master program in Electrical Systems Engineering focuses on electrical systems at an Advanced level. The program deals with the analysis, construction and evaluation of electrical systems in hardware and software. It delivers a solid background in theories and methods for the design of electrical systems. 

The Semester contribution totaling 348.54 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Social contribution fee 98.00 EUR, German General Students’ Committee (AStA) fee 12.50 EUR, Semester ticket (regional) fee 176.49 EUR, NRW ticket fee 59.40 EUR and Cultural contribution fee 2.15 EUR

A Bachelor degree gained in an English-speaking country, a German Bachelor degree obtained in a study program that has been accredited as an English language program can be used for proof of english language

Electrical Systems Engineering

The Master Engineering and Sustainable Technology Management in Mobility and Automotive Industry deals with an in-depth insight into current topics such as autonomous driving, alternative drive concepts, assistance systems and new sales and business concepts in e-mobility. At the same time, Students will learn how to design and operate mobility and automotive systems using the latest technologies while driving innovation and sustainable economic success. Students will learn how to deal with integrated systems and complex technologies and will have the opportunity to improve the soft skills that tomorrow’s employers are looking for.

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

EU applicants have to pay 500 EUR and non-EU applicants have to pay 900 EUR as enrollment fee

Linguaskill with 176 - 184 (CES); TOEIC levels of Listening/Reading 785, Speaking 160, Writing 150 and TOEFL scores of 87 ibt for direct recording and 79-86 ibt with additional agreement are accepted as proof of language requirement

Engineering and Sustainable Technology Management -Mobility and Automotive Industry

Master degree programme in International Innovation Management is aimed at Bachelor graduates who wish to initiate, implement and evaluate innovations in the product, service and process areas of international organisations. The content covers the basis of innovation management and current topics such as consumer insights and communication, digital innovation, data science and Artificial Intelligence for business innovation and sustainable innovation. The lectures and seminars are complemented by practical innovation field trips.
