The Digital Product Management programme provides students with an academic foundation in the subject areas of digital product management, digital product innovation and marketing, agile project management and practical skills in the areas of product strategy, business model design, organizational design, design thinking and entrepreneurship. Students will learn all aspects of the development of digital products, enabling them to analyse consumers and market events using the methods of the subject and to derive strategies for innovative digital products from this.

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

Pearson Test of English (General) Level 1, PASSWORD 5.5 (no less than 5.0 in each component), EF SET 51, can be used as proof of English language proficiency

Digital Product Management

The objective of the English-language Functional Materials Master program is a research-oriented education in the field of modern functional materials, which are becoming increasingly important in the engineered world. The program focuses on the working mechanisms of modern functional materials and provides an education with respect to their manufacturing, processing and characterization. The program qualifies students for work both in basic research in public and private research institutions as well as in applied research and development in industry, in the fields of nanotechnology, chemistry, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering. 

Internship is not mandatory, but is optional during studies. If possible, we recommend doing an internship.

The Master degree program in Physics students acquire the necessary skills to become acquainted with current topics in physics, to design and conduct experiments or theoretical methods in this field, to categorize the results and to draw conclusions for application to technical developments and scientific progress. Career prospects include Basic or industry research, application-based development, technical and administrative planning, quality assurance, consulting, sales, teaching and management, in industry and at public authorities.

Physics

Technische Universität Dresden

Embedded Computing Systems are in charge of controlling tasks, processing data or interfacing systems. With upcoming trends like the Internet-of-Things (IoT), Industrial Internet, Smart Grids/Power/Water/ Cities, and autonomous mobility we observe a tremendous increase in the demand for such systems.

The language of instruction in ESY is English. In the elective part, you may also choose courses in German language if you wish to improve your skills in German language

The interdisciplinary and international Master degree course in Data Science fills gap and provides in-depth training in the relevant disciplines. It includes content from the fields of business informatics, mathematics, and statistics, business administration and marketing as well as media, law, and communication science.
The Master program is carried out in cooperation with the High-tech Business and Entrepreneurship Group of the University of Twente (Netherlands).

The Master degree programme Engineering of Socio-Technical Systems is a specialized academic curriculum that take an interdisciplinary approach to the development of safety-critical, computer-based interactive systems, and particularly focus on the interaction between humans and technology. The interdisciplinarily Master degree in data science combines content from computer science, mathematics, information systems, and the natural sciences. This is currently the most important sub-discipline of computer science, and it can be applied in many jobs across a wide range of industries; such as cyber security, data science, and artificial intelligence, data security, project management, and IT law.

Data Science (Hybrid)

Bachelor program in Embedded Software Systems deals with the basis of developing software for embedded systems and considers current methods for dealing with the special challenges. Embedded software systems is not a separate science. The course makes heavy use of computer science methods and deepens them. In addition, the basis of mathematics, physics and electrical engineering are taught. The course offers a solid education that is particularly in demand in industry, leading to a Bachelor of Science degree.
