Master course in International Business (Corporate Strategy and Innovation) will help you to gain a foothold in the world of internal strategy and innovation management. The Corporate Strategy and Innovation concentration creates a bridge between a Master in Change Management and a Master in Corporate Strategy. This course is ideal for students hoping to tackle and solve the social and economic challenges of the 21st century as the managers, consultants and entrepreneurs of the future.
Note: Applicants have the option to study for an additional one semester in one of the partner universities and acquire a dual degree. This means that you will receive a second Master degree from one of our partner universities abroad.

Master pro­gram­me in Cultural Studies: Culture and Organization is de­di­ca­ted to the re­la­ti­onship bet­ween cul­tu­re, the arts and or­ga­niza­t­i­on. The pro­gram­me in­tro­du­ces cul­tu­ral and so­cio­lo­gi­cal theo­ries as cri­ti­cal len­ses for stu­dy­ing con­tem­pora­ry or­ga­niza­t­i­on and or­ga­ni­zing. Economics Major

The English-language North American Studies Master program deals with the complex literature and cultures of North American, particularly the USA and Canada, but also the Caribbean and Latin American, and performs interdisciplinary teaching and research work. Central investigative aspects are the multifaceted interculturalism of the respective countries, which are analyzed using newly developed, transnational and cross-border methods and disciplines, among others. The program qualifies graduates for working in research and teaching in the field of North American literature and cultural studies, in editorial professions (journalism, publishing), mediation roles in the intercultural field (language, cultural mediation), professions in administrative services, work in foreign service (EU, UN, embassies) and in international corporations (public relations, management). 

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

The Semester contributions totalling 354.17 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Student union fee 90.50 EUR, Student Body fee 14.00 EUR, Semester ticket fee 199.67 EUR and Administrative fee 50 EUR

Cambridge CAE and FCE, UNIcert III, Cambridge IGCSE with level C1, are accepted proof of language proficiency

North American Studies

Philipps-Universität Marburg

In the Bachelor degree of Energy Systems and Renewable Energies students acquire deeper knowledge in a range of different systems such as building energy systems, off-grid systems, industry supply systems and energy systems in general. The course also covers other important fields of studies such as cogeneration technology, heat pumps and energy storage systems for controlling energy generation and consumption capacities. Common career paths include recruitment by energy supply companies, jobs in the industry or with engineering service providers or planning offices, as well as the job profile of an independent consultant. This is a Dual study program consisting of academic study and vocational training or intense practical phases.

The program is taught entirely in English language. Sufficient language skills are essential to successfully complete the coursework. English proficiency tests such as TOEFL or IELTS is not required

Energy Systems and Renewable Energies

The teaching degree program English includes the study of the language, literature and culture of English-speaking countries. Students receive a solid overview of both classical and modern English-language literature and culture and also explore current topics from the areas of structural and applied linguistics. Teaching at vocational schools involves teaching at a German public school, candidates must follow up their Bachelor degree with a Master of Education degree program as well as practical teacher training.

No official language certificates (IELTS, CAE, TOEFL) are required for studying English studies. However, a very good knowledge of English (example seven years of schooling) and knowledge of a second modern foreign language are recommended

The Master in Social and Cultural Anthropology is an international research-oriented study program. The Master program in Current Democracies: Nationalism, Federalism and Multiculturalism is a Double degree program offered in cooperation with the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) in Barcelona and Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU). During the first year, all students participating in the double degree program will follow the program at UPF whilst the second year of the program will take place at LMU. Upon successful completion of the program students are offered the degree from both the universities.
