The Master degree programme Engineering of Socio-Technical Systems is a specialized academic curriculum that take an interdisciplinary approach to the development of safety-critical, computer-based interactive systems, and particularly focus on the interaction between humans and technology. This Master degree programme offers students a unique opportunity to follow an intricate mix of Computing Science and Psychology courses, especially cognitive and perception psychology. The program provides three focal areas of study including Human Computer Interaction, Embedded Brain-Computer Interaction and Systems Engineering. Graduates of this Master degree programme go on to work in many different industry areas in which interactive, cooperative and cyber-physical systems (CPS) are developed and optimized.

The Semester contributions totalling 404.01 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Semester ticket fee 202.19 EUR, Students union fee 98.00 EUR, Student body fee 23.30 EUR, DIY Bicycle repair shop fee 2.60 EUR, Administration fee 75.00 EUR and Culture Ticket fee 2.92 EUR
Minimum entry requirement includes a Bachelor degree in Computing Science or other related discipline, in Business Information Systems, in Psychology or Cognitive Sciences, or related field of study.
University degree obtained in country with English as official language, Cambridge FCE and BEC, IGCSE with Level B2 is accepted as proof of language proficiency
Any proof of relevant professional experience, internships or study-related experience abroad can also be submitted
Submitting Curriculum vitae is recommended but not mandatory
Applicants from China, India and Vietnam need to submit APS certificate
