Course Details

The close connection between the sub-subjects of linguistics, literature and cultural studies is a distinguishing feature of Osnabrück's English and American Studies. Researchers and teachers have a wide range of priorities: the English Renaissance (with a focus on Shakespeare), Late Modern English, construction grammar, English-language children's and young adult literature, American literature and culture (including visual media), British contemporary culture and English vocabulary and his mediation. The course is organized in stages. It begins with the Bachelor course Education, Upbringing and Teaching.
