Course Details

Osnabrück's English and American Studies are characterized by the close integration of the sub-subjects of language, literature and cultural studies. Key areas of research and teaching are the English Renaissance (with a focus on Shakespeare), "Late Modern English", construction grammar, English-language children's and young adult literature, American literature and culture (including visual media), British contemporary culture and English vocabulary and Its teaching . The course is organized in stages. It begins with the Bachelor degree in "Vocational Education". You can then complete the Master degree in “Teaching at Vocational Schools”. The teaching subject English is to be studied in combination with a vocational subject as well as vocational and business education.
