The International Master in “Physical Activity and Health” programme provides graduate students with knowledge and practical experience in the field of physical activity and health promotion. Its areas of emphasis are physical activity and exercise for disease prevention and rehabilitation. Students are trained in: conceptualization of intervention strategies  programme implementation within specific settings and/or target groups (e.g. vulnerable groups such as the chronically ill or ethnic minorities)  quality assurance  and scientific evaluation..

Step 1:
As a first step  you should send your application documents as one PDF-File by Email (sport-mapah@fau.de) directly to the Department of Sport Science and Sport. Please do not use the application portal of our university! You will receive a confirmation Email that we have received your application within three working days. Applications will be reviewed by the Department within 6 weeks of receiving the complete application package. Applicants will be informed of the outcome of the evaluation process by Email.

Step 2:
As a second step  applicants who have passed the evaluation by the Department of Sport Science and Sport will be asked to take part in the formal admission process conducted by the central university administration. Applicants will receive assistance guiding them through the formal application process. One important thing is changing: From January 2022  it will no longer be necessary to submit hard copies of your documents (certificates  language certificates  etc.). The entire process of step 1 and step 2 will be done online using electronic documents! The central university administration will conduct a formal check of the applicants' degree certificates. Applicants who pass this second evaluation process will receive an official letter of admission to the MA Programme in Spring/Summer.

For international applicants:
As international (i.e. non-European Union) students will need the formal admission letter in order to apply for a visa to Germany  these applicants are strongly encouraged to file their application with the Department of Sport Science as soon as possible.

If the application to the Department of Sport Science and Sport (Step 1) is submitted later than in February 2022  the full two-step application procedure may not be completed on time to receive a visa for the 2022 fall term.

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

Applicants not providing CEFR B2 level language certificates may have to take an additional English language exam at the University Language Center prior to enrollment  regardless of the score achieved in other language tests

The Brand Management Master combines business management knowledge with different focal points, which qualify for activities in marketing, trade, purchasing or sales in the luxury and consumer goods industry. In addition to project work and excursions, the Master Sales Management also includes a twelve-week practical phase. The majority of their lecturers have practical experience and work in companies such as Montblanc, Hugo Boss or Procter and Gamble.
Course is also available in Fast Track basis. Under fast track basis, semester abroad is omitted and you shorten your internship period. This allows you to complete your Master degree in only 3 semesters with 90 ECTS.
Note: An international double degree can be obtained in fashion management. In addition to the Master degree at the ISM, you can also obtain a second, internationally recognized Master degree in two or two and a half years. The decisive step for your international career is supported by the expansion of your personal network with international students and lecturers. In addition, you will consolidate your linguistic and intercultural skills with a double degree.

Students from EU and EWR have to pay an enrollment fee of 600 EUR and Non-EU-students have to pay 1500 EUR

Students of the international, research-oriented Master program study questions of modern Organismal Biology, Biodiversity and Evolution. A particular focus lies on the quantitative analysis of organisms, biodiversity and evolutionary processes applying modern physiological and molecular techniques and methods of population biology.

The Biology Master degree programme is a research oriented course of studies which aims to provide in depth training in the techniques and methods used in modern biology and related fields. The Barenboim-Said-Akademie (short: BSA) is a music college in Berlin - Mitte . It is named after Argentine-Israeli pianist and conductor Daniel Barenboim and American-Palestinian literary critic Edward Said . The main building is the former scenery depot of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden, it is located in the adjacent area to the rear on Französische Straße. Ever since the renovation works were completed during 2014 and 2015, the building now has a lecture hall, several seminar rooms, 21 rehearsal rooms and, since March 2017, a chamber music hall, the main hall of the house , named after the French conductor Pierre Boulez .
 
 For talented young people from the Middle East and North Africa, the state-recognized Barenboim-Said Akademie offers a bachelor's degree in music. The rigorous curriculum also includes humanities and musicology. The academy's faculty includes internationally renowned artists. Aside from the bachelor's degree, the academy offers an artist diploma in all orchestral instruments, piano, and composition, which prepares musicians for a professional career.
 
 The pedagogical spirit of Edward Said and Daniel Barenboim pervades the Barenboim-Said Akademie. Students learn to listen to one another and to come up with their own ideas. The goal is to train outstanding musicians who are also inquisitive and well-educated. The operational costs are borne by the Federal Government of Germany. The scholarships are provided by Germany's Foreign Ministry. The Barenboim-Said Akademie has a 99-year lease on the landmark building from the City of Berlin.
 
 All in all, Barenboim-Said Akademie offers an unprecedented conservatory education for talented, young musicians uniting intensive music performance studies with a grounding in the humanities.

With deep roots in its Lower Bavarian roots, the Technical University of Deggendorf grew to become Bavaria's most successful new university of applied sciences in the 1990s.  Despite its rapid growth, the campus maintains a family-like atmosphere. Student associations are actively involved in shaping campus life. Deggendorf has many advantages as a university town. The distances between the campus, the city, and the residence halls are short and can be covered on foot. There are numerous recreational opportunities due to the proximity to the Danube and the Bavarian Forest.

Finding a room is not that easy around this University. We highly recommend to search for a room as soon as you get an admission from your university.

HMKW - University of Applied Sciences for Media, Communication and Management

The Heidelberg University for Jewish Studies is a hotbed of academic debate on all aspects of Jewish religion, history, culture, and society.  The Heidelberg University for Jewish Studies welcomes all students and academics, regardless of nationality or religious beliefs. The scientific library Albert Einstein, with seminar rooms in between, is opposite the corresponding teaching house, the Beth Midrash; here is the place of religious learning of the basic texts of Judaism with the university rabbi and members of the academic faculty.  The university sharpens the view of religion, history, culture, and society through the interaction of internal and external perspectives. Hochschule für Jüdische Studien Heidelberg (HfJS)

The Hochschule Wismar, University of Applied Sciences: Technology, Business, and Design (or simply University of Wismar) is Germany's third-largest and third-oldest public university. The university is located on the Baltic coast in northern Germany, with its campus only 500 meters (550 yards) from the harbor. The university, which began as an engineering academy in 1908, has become an important part of the city's cultural life.
 
 Since 2007, the university has been restructured and now has three faculties that correspond to the three subjects mentioned in its name: technology, business, and design. Mechanical, Process and Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Multimedia Engineering, and Maritime Studies are among the courses offered by the Faculty of Engineering. The Business Faculty offers courses in Business Administration, Business Law, and Business Informatics. The Faculty of Design encompasses courses in Design, Architecture, Interior Architecture, and Communication Design.
 
 The university offers more than 50 courses, including distance learning courses via its subsidiary WINGS-university. Some courses in Maritime Studies are offered in cooperation with the European Cruise Academy. Most courses lead to a bachelor's degree after 3-3.5 years or a master's degree after another 1.5–2 years. Students with a master's degree (5 years of study) qualify for pursuing a PhD.

Hochschule Wismar - University of Applied Sciences, Technology, Business and Design

The Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Amberg-Weiden (OTH - Technical University of Applied Sciences) is located in the Upper Palatinate, a federal state of Bavaria administrative district. It has four departments spread across two campuses in Amberg and Weiden, about 40 kilometers apart. The University, which has approximately 3,500 students and an academic staff of 83, provides excellent conditions and career opportunities.
