Master in Transporta­tion Economics provides the knowledge and methods required to understand, research and design the challenges of mobility in terms of Its economic, ecological and spatial effects. Mobility determines participation in social and economic life, the spatial structure of society, and the extent of the environmental impact caused by transportation.  This results in extensive transport-focused economic and methodological tasks on an operational, societal and methodological level.

It is mandatory to do an internship. It is easier to find internship when it is mandatory. 3-6 months is most common.

The Semester contributions totaling 290.30 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Student Union fee 87.50 EUR, Student Council and Student Representation fee 7.60 EUR and Semester Ticket fee 195.20 EUR

A-Level certificate with proof that the exams were taken completely in English or a certificate of higher education for a degree program completed entirely in English is accepted as proof of language proficiency

The objective of the interdisciplinary and application-oriented Master program in Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency for the Middle East and North Africa Region (REMENA) is to train more and better qualified people to help implement standards in Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency - RE and EE - in the energy sector as one of the main priorities of German-Arab bilateral cooperation programs.
Three universities – the University of Kassel, Germany, Cairo University, Egypt, and the University of Monastir, Tunisia – in cooperation with institutions and companies in the renewable energy sector have combined their expertise to design an attractive Master program to guarantee an excellent education for young experts to meet the challenges of sustainable energy supply and renewable energy and energy efficiency topics.
