Course Details

Master in Financial Mathematics deals with a wide range of issues. On the general theoretical level, it is about the basic structure of the financial markets or the choice of a meaningful, consistent risk concept. At the other end of the spectrum is the evaluation of specific financial products or the quantification of risks using numerical methods. The methodological focus of your studies is on stochastics, numerics, optimization and analysis.

Entry Requirements

Minimum requirement includes Bachelor degree in mathematics or other quantitative degree such as physics or economics with very solid knowledge of the mathematical foundations with potential to quickly acquire any lack in knowledge, for example in measure-theoretical probability theory.

Applicants should enjoys analyzing complex issues, ability to concentrate work, urge for clarity and self-criticism, and good knowledge of mathematics.

As a part of selection process applicants need to attend an aptitude test.
