Master in Food Biotechnology concentrate on conveying knowledge about the properties, production processes, and diverse possibilities of applying enzymes and microorganisms in the food industry. You will learn biochemical methodological knowledge to purify and characterize enzymes, enzyme kinetics, immobilization of enzymes, and the expression and mutagenesis of recombinant enzymes. In addition, you will develop microbiological expertise in handling pathogens in food production.

The Semester contributions totaling 186.70 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Administration fee 70 EUR, Student services fee (including StudiTicket for public transportation) 104.20 EUR and Student Parliament fee 12.50 EUR
Minimum requirement includes Bachelor degree in natural or engineering sciences (180 ECTS credits) with modules in Biochemistry, Biology, Biophysics, Biotechnology, Microbiology, and Molecular Biology, food production processes.
Applicants has to attend selection interview.
