The Functional Advanced Materials and Engineering Master programme is based on and existing Erasmus Mundus program. The new FAME+ programme involves the same 7 European high level universities (Grenoble INP, TU Darmstadt, U. Aveiro, U. Augsburg, U. Bordeaux, U. Liège, U.C Louvain) from 4 countries (France, Germany, Belgium, Portugal) and provides a broad coverage of different education systems in Europe together with the way to integrate them in a large educational and industrial community. Students start in one of two partner universities (Grenoble INP, France; TU Darmstadt, Germany) for the first year, then move on to other partner university for the second year.

The Semester contributions totaling 244.58 EUR must be paid each semester. It includes Semester fee ticket 135.23 EUR, Hardship fund 0.20 EUR, Student union fee 93.00 EUR, Cooperation AStA and State Theatre DA fee 0.75 EUR, Cooperation Moller Haus fee 0.25 EUR, Cooperation Landesmuseum fee 0.10 EUR, Student body or AStA fee 13.15 EUR, Call a Bike or DB Rent fee 1.50 EUR and FZS membership fee 0.40 EUR
Minimum entry requirements include a Bachelor degree in Science or Technology or Engineering (Physics, Chemistry, Metallurgy, Materials Science, Electrochemistry and related fields) or Its equivalent.
English language degree obtained from Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, United Kingdom or the United States is accepted as proof of language requirement
